Our Skills

We have deep discussions with founders, executives, owners, investors, leaders, management, front line workers, customers, and suppliers.  These discussions are two way streets that help everyone obtain clarity about what they have done, what they need to do, and what they want to do.

Our history

We started consulting in 1987 in the Chicago, Illinois area, then spent a decade in the Fort Wayne, Indiana region working with manufacturing and financial services firms.  Since 1999 we have been based in Scottsdale, Arizona where we have worked with clients in the US, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. 


 Process Improvement:

  • Invited to establish and mentor a Performance Improvement Team at a "once proud" utility facility.  The facility was performing in the bottom quartile of performance but had once been in the 5% of performance.  The facility began implementing recommendations from the Performance Improvement team and once again regained top line performance from the national ratings organizations.

Innovation:

  • A large Nuclear Energy facility experienced an event and needed to prevent future similar events and anticipate what other future problems might occur and how they might be avoided. Facilitated a "Possibilities Analysis" process to meet their need. Discovery using this analysis resulted in a reorg of the organization at the highest levels. Gave presentation at Optimize 2006 International Conference in Paris, France and was awarded "Best Presentation."

Product Focus:

  • An insurance company that serves Veterans needed a portal that was useful for the Veteran's Administration, the insurance company, and Veterans themselves.  Served as the Product Interface between the Business, IT, the Federal Government, and the customers of the Portal.

Joint Venture:

  • Two sister companies needed to share processes, platforms, and facilities.  Served as "Glue" that brought and held teams together. Set up and administered their work item and collaboration platforms. Facilitated plant management meetings.
